FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if MICRO MIXER is too long for my microwave?
The telescoping design allows either MICRO MIXER spatula shaft to be inserted into the suction cup shaft, in order to adjust to the height of most microwaves. Both the MICRO MIXER spatula shaft and/or the suction cup shaft can be trimmed shorter to allow for further adjustment.
Why doesn’t MICRO MIXER melt in the microwave?
MICRO MIXER parts are made of a USDA approved thermoplastic elastomer, resistant to heat up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Why is the MICRO MIXER suction cup not sticking to my microwave roof?
Be sure the microwave ceiling is flat, clean and free of any debris. Then, firmly press the MICRO MIXER suction cup against the roof.
What if food starts to bunch up along the sides of the bowl while MICRO MIXER is stirring?
Re-position MICRO MIXER closer to the middle of the microwave’s ceiling. The best location for MICRO MIXER may vary, depending on the spatula, size of bowl, food consistency, and microwave turntable speed.
What if food starts to boil over?
Reduce the power setting to about “5” (50%). The food will still cook at a rate similar to the "High” setting.
What if the food sticks to the bottom of the bowl and MICRO MIXER is not stirring it?
Some foods may require preliminary stirring, allowing initial absorption of liquid. Once heating begins, MICRO MIXER can work efficiently.
What if the MICRO MIXER bowl is too tall for my microwave?
Use a shorter micro-waveable bowl. MICRO MIXER works in almost any heavy, round micro-waveable container.
What if the MICRO MIXER suction cup sticks, but the shaft does not hang straight down?
Some microwaves have uneven ceilings. You may choose to purchase another model oven, designed with a turntable and flat roof.
Will the bowl tip over if MICRO MIXER is improperly installed?
Normally, if MICRO MIXER rubs too hard against the side, the bowl will slide to re-position itself on the turntable. Be sure the size of bowl allows for movement on the turntable. Do not use a bowl or turntable pad that has a non-slip surface.
